About Me

My photo
I have a great Interest in Photography, I love reading and learning, I enjoy many different ways of expressing my talents in art. I Like culinary food art, carving fruit and vegetables and catering parties. I like drawing and water coloring as well. Other activities I enjoy are dancing, golfing, racquetball and bowling. However, my favorite things to do is travel, eating out and taking pictures along the way. I am a member of the Nevada camera club. It is one of the best ways of learning Photography because you get to learn will doing. I learn so much from the other members, their classes and field trips. What pushes me the most is their competitions. I am currently learning photo shop on my computer, That might take me a few years though.

My Friday Town Shoot Out...

This is a scavenger hunt for circles square and triangles. Straight out of the camera .  Were only supposed to have one picture of each shape and I had the hardest time finding  subjects that I liked, I looked all week and I only found one that I liked and it was a combination of all three shapes.
I hope you see all three shapes like I do. This is straight out of the camera no editing.

But I like to break the rules some times and so you can see what a little editing can do
I know I should play by the rules but it's so fun not to.
Any way I went back into my archives of pictures searching for the shapes and found another picture that had all three in one .
Straight out of the camera no editing. Can you see all three shapes? I can.
Of course I had to show you the edited one.
Any way that's all I could find for this hunt.

Have a great week see you next time!

Cool fancy door. It's hard not to edit, isn't it? I had to revert my pics to originals, but decided they were actually better that way.

The door was in the back of a Doctors office. I was waiting for my husband while walking my dog around the parking lot. Lucky find.

I love these photos. That door is spectacular and I do prefer that cropped picture. Excellent choice for this theme. Great job. Lovely images.

i took 3 days off and missed the shoot out. i love what you did with the edits and the part about breaking rulse. ansel adams edited all his photos, he just did it with chemicals in a dark room and i know if he had what we have he would use it now. my friend took art in college and also photography and they taught her how to dodge and burn like ansel did in the dark room. edit on.....
