However, my favorite things to do is travel, eating out and taking pictures along the way. I am a member of the Nevada camera club. It is one of the best ways of learning Photography because you get to learn will doing. I learn so much from the other members, their classes and field trips. MY FRIDAY TOWN SHOOT OUT...

This MFTSO is on collections.

I have been collecting black and white things for my kitchen for about 25 years. Then someone gave me a cow and all of a sudden more people gave me cows, then I saw a few I liked and now my kitchen  has a cow theme. I tell people it's to remind me not to become one with my eating habits. But really I do think there cute.
Salt & pepper shaker, toothpick holder and a napkin holder.
The cookie jar.
Canisters.
Glass jars and paper towel holder.
A hot pad.
Coffee cups.
Glass canisters and another hot pad.
The little cow on the stove.
The pictures on the wall my Sister Anita painted.

Although I have a lot more different kinds of farm animals in my kitchen I feel that this really was the biggest collection of any one theme.  I kind have went for the county look,  I like it.

I also have collected a few photos this last weekend.  The Camera club had a Scavenger Hunt on Saturday they gave us ten words we had to go out and find pictures of.  We had to  have and empty memory card to start with.  You had to turn in only those ten pictures on the card with no doctoring from your computer just as is right from the camera. You could take lots of pictures but you had to delete them and choose one for each word at the end. We had to turn them in at 6:00 pm. So JarieLyn and I teemed up together.  We went down to the strip. We park at the Lexor and walk clear down to the Venetian than walk all the way back on the other side going in and out of the Casinos along the way to find  the photos we needed.  It toke us all day. We did stop to have lunch. This is the second time we have done this and both times I a lot of fun.  Maybe sometime the MFTSO will have some kind of theme or game like this to do. I'll suggest it. Anyway here are the ten pictures I turn in that day.

Neon
Vessel
Reflection
Horn
Dragon
Lantern
Entrance
Bridge
White Flower
Rabbit

There is a prize for the winner of the best over all, we'll find out who won at the next meeting. If I win I will let you know.

I hope you all have a great weekend. I know I will, I am going to go visit my Daughter In Coure D'alene Idaho. I get to see my newest Grandson again. See you next week.

I ran a backpackers hostel a few years ago named The Coastal Cow which was decorated with cows. I'm sure they's love to have some of your pieces.
I enjoyed your photos for the competition, too. Good luck!

What a great collection of cow stuff for your kitchen. It's funny how when people find out you collect something, they are always finding that something for you. I think it's a nice thing to do, and I'm always finding things for others....mostly because I have no more room, and I'm still getting to browse and collect!

Love the idea that your camera club for Collecting Shots for Words! You did great collecting yours...and how fun for you and JeriLynn to do the Shoot Together!

Cute collection of cows! There is a photo scavenger hunt like that once a year in my town, but for various reasons I have not yet taken part. Good luck.

How many cow collection do you have. One of my friend collects ducks, another pigs. Same way as you did, some one gave to them, and the collection started.

Thanks for the Chinese New Year photos. Like the Chinese junk.

I like your cows, especially the one on the stove. It's really cute. Also, your scavenger hunt photos are really good. I especially like the bridge, which was the same one I entered.
